The Lancaster Medical Society Foundation provides funding to medical students with a strong connection to Lancaster County, who demonstrate academic achievement, motivation and leadership, show an interest in meeting societal needs and share a desire to potentially serve Lancaster County residents as a future physician. Since its establishment in 1991, the Foundation has awarded more than $320,000 in scholarship funds. Each year, Lancaster City & County Medical Society holds a Holiday Social & Foundation Benefit to raise funds for the scholarship program.
Any student, with strong connections to Lancaster County, fulfilling the criteria listed above and accepted or continuing a medical degree at an accredited medical school may apply for the Lancaster Medical Society Foundation scholarship.
The scholarship application for the 2026/2027 academic year scholarship program is now available. If you are interested in learning more or applying, please download it HERE. Applications must be received by 07/01/26 for consideration.
